Green Thumb Industries Announces the Opening of Rise Mundelein, its Retail Store in Illinois

Opening of the Retail Outlet
The opening ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 16, and the celebrations will extend from 8 AM to 11 AM.
The event will include cutting of a ribbon and serving of food and beverages. There will be an appreciation event for patients and guests, to further strengthen the already strong bonds between the company and its customers. The Mayor of Mundelein, Steve Lentz, will grace the occasion with his presence.
Ben Kovler, Founder and CEO of Green Thumb Industries, spoke about the important role Rise Mundelein had throughout played in the growth of Green Thumb, which was among the first places in the state to make cannabis easily accessible to adult customers.
He also added that as more and more people are relying on cannabis for recreational and medical needs, it is obligatory for the company to enhance user experience among both patients and recreational users, by ensuring the quality of the cannabis.
Mayor Steve Lentz also spoke about the remarkable way in which Green Thumb and Rise Mundelein have been together serving the community ever since they opened the dispensary in the place in 2015. He expressed his interest in participating in the grand reopening celebrations.
The refurbished dispensary has sufficient space to accommodate guests and patients for individual consultations with an open concept bar.
The place has also got interactive product displays, increased number of sales counters, pop-up shops, and increased educational spaces. There is provision for consuming cannabis at the site though it can be done only by advance booking.
It is fully legal to buy cannabis at the site and there is roll-through car service that allows patients who need cannabis to collect their orders. Rise Mundelein is the first store in Illinois to offer this provision. The renovated centre has been designed by the well-known interior design firm, Sasha Adler Design, which specializes is historical restorations.
