Green Thumb Industries Opens Its 67th Store Nationwide with Rise Reno in Nevada

Green Thumb Industries Inc. (CSE: GTII) (OTCQX: GTBIF), a leading national cannabis consumer packaged-goods company and owner of Rise dispensaries, announced the opening of Rise Reno, the Company’s 67th store in the country. The store is located at 2881 Northtowne Lane in the city of Reno in Nevada and its hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Profits from the store’s first day’s sales will be donated to Helping our Brothers and Sisters (HOBS), an organization that provides mentoring and short-term financial assistance to U.S. combat Veterans, especially those suffering from PTSD and other chronic health issues. The group also provides support to LGBTQ Veterans who are denied the recognition they deserve, due to their sexual orientation.

He emphasized how happy the company was to make the contribution to help Veterans, considering the public’s indebtedness to them, while at the same time introducing more consumers and tourists alike to the Rise experience.
Dr. Marvin Carter, Founder of HOBS, said that the organization appreciated the support of Green Thumb and other community-minded businesses for their interest in the care of the country’s military Veterans.
He added that the support meant a lot in conveying that Veterans were not alone in facing the challenges of combat, which in many cases created a lifetime of challenges.

Besides Rise Reno, Green Thumb owns and operates a Rise store in Carson City. It has also got retail locations throughout the greater Las Vegas area, including stores in Henderson, South Durango, South Rainbow and Tropicana. Earlier this year, the company opened its first location in Nevada called COOKIES on the Strip, in partnership with the well-known cannabis brand COOKIES.
