The Expansion to Spanish and Mexican Markets
Andrew Restrepo, General Manager of Flora Beauty, said that after months of preparation, the company was ready for the new international market with its products meeting the requirements of present-day consumers.
He said that after cutting-edge formulations, rigorous safety standards, and sustainable packaging, the company was confident that its products were poised to be among the best in the beauty industry and was pleased that the recent industry recognition had endorsed it.
Flora Beauty’s brand Mind Naturals caters to the younger generation of consumers who are starting a skincare regimen. As different from this, the AWE brand caters to the prestige market and is meant for consumers who want more of customized and personal experiences.
Both brands satisfy modern-day consumers’ expectations as they are quality products that use natural ingredients while at the same time they ensure environmental protection and accept social responsibility.
Mind Naturals Glosswire Top 12 Finalist
Earlier this week, Flora Beauty’s Mind Naturals brand was named one of the 12 finalists in Glosswire’s Global Pitch Competition, in which beauty brands from across the globe had participated.
According to Glosswire, the 12 finalists represent next-generation beauty brands, leading the industry in product and marketing innovation, diversity, purpose and storytelling.
Representatives of Flora Beauty will be submitting the brand Mind Naturals to a panel of judges for final selection. Before that, Mind Naturals had participated in the 18th annual Cosmoprof North America event where Mind Naturals was selected for its innovation and trendsetting, and was featured in a special section of the show called CosmoTrends.
Luis Merchan, CEO of Flora Growth Corp., said that the company was excited to expand its global reach in the following months, through its brands.

According to the European Cannabis Report: 6th Edition, which does an in-depth analysis of legalization of cannabis and its market growth, the European cannabis industry will have reached €3.2 billion euros by the year 2025.
Spain is believed to serve as the European base to export products to nearby countries. Under such a scenario, entering the market early in the game is considered as a strategic move by Flora Beauty.
Damian Lopez, Flora Growth’s VP Legal & Strategy, who is one of the company’s founders and former CEO, has resigned from the company to focus on other entrepreneurial ventures as well as board and advisory roles. The resignation came into effect on November 30, 2021.
