Columbia Care Opens Its Third Dispensary in Richmond, Virginia, Under gLeaf Brand
Columbia Care Inc. (NEO: CCHW) (CSE: CCHW) (OTCQX: CCHWF) (FSE: 3LP), one of the leading cannabis companies, which cultivates, produces, sells, and distributes cannabis products across the U.S for both medicinal and recreational use, announced that it has opened a dispensary at 11190 West Broad Street in Glen Allen, Virginia.
It is the company’s third dispensary in the area and has been opened under the gLeaf brand. The new dispensary will be having two drive-through windows and 12 registers.
As of now, it is offering gLeaf and Seed & Strain brands. But it expects to be able to soon launch Triple Seven, Classix, and other brands once these get the necessary regulatory approval from the authorities. The store will be open Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 8:00 pm and on Sunday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.

New Dispensary in Richmond Suburb
Nicholas Vita, CEO of Columbia Care, said that the company was pleased to be able to serve the greater Richmond metropolitan area, so soon after adding whole flower to its product range.
He added that the opening of the dispensary marked the latest step in the company’s process of expansion in Virginia to support the area’s expanding medical program as well as its more than 33000 patients. He expressed his gratitude to the Board of Pharmacy and local officials for their support for the company’s growth and expansion.
Columbia Care is poised to open two more dispensaries in the coming months, one in Carytown and the other in Virginia Beach. Besides that, Columbia Care and gLeaf are together developing seven more dispensaries.
The company will then have a total of 12 dispensaries in Virginia to serve its steadily growing medical cannabis program. Besides this, Columbia Care is rebranding its Portsmouth dispensary as Cannabist and the change is expected to improve patient experience in the entire Hampton Roads area.
Across Virginia, the company holds an area of 147,765 square feet where it does cultivation and production. Of this, 82,000 square feet comprise an indoor cultivation facility and it is the largest such facility in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
