Supreme Cannabis Founder Steps Up, Offers Industry Jobs to CannTrust Layoffs

For many at CannTrust, the mess that has been surrounding the company for the past few months has little to do with them. Some of them may have been a part of setting up the false walls as reported initially or maybe others were behind CannTrust changing strain names reported by BNN, but for many others they had nothing to do with any illegal activities and they are now out of a job.
This CannTrust scandal has rocketed the entire cannabis industry and stocks throughout cannabis have been plummeting amidst the news and uncertainty. That being said, the industry continues to show it is made up of good people who are truly working in cannabis to help others.
Enter John Fowler, Chief Advocacy Officer and a Founder of The Supreme Cannabis Company (TSX: FIRE). Supreme Cannabis (The Supreme Fire) is a global diversified portfolio of distinct cannabis companies, products and brands. Since 2014, the Company has emerged as one of the world’s fastest-growing, premium plant driven-lifestyle companies by effectively deploying capital, with an emphasis on disciplined growth and high-quality products.
John Fowler is the President, Founder and a Director of The Supreme Cannabis Company, Inc. Mr. Fowler is a pioneer in the Canadian cannabis industry, having spent more than a decade in the medical cannabis sector as a cultivator, influencer, patients-rights advocate and lawyer.
In light of the news that CannTrust had laid off at least 20% of it’s workforce, Fowler stepped up to offer jobs and recourse for those affected.
“If you got laid off by CannTrust $TRST this week due to management’s greed” reads the tweet, “check out our HR pages for @TheSupremeFIRE @7ACRESmj. We’re always looking for passionate and dedicated people that want to work hard for the plant and cultivate a career in cannabis.”
Fowler, an industry vet, was quick to capitalize on the talent pool that may be available to help continue supporting their belief in cannabis business.
